"Who's always smiling, never sad? "It's Whizzo! "Who makes the boys and girls so glad? Whizzo!" Kansas City kids watching KMBC 9 between 1955 and 1987 grew up watching "Whizzo's Wonderland." KMBC director Frank Wiziarde became "Whizzo the Clown" in 1955 when the station needed daytime programming.Whizzo remained on the air in Kansas City and later in Topeka until three months before Wiziarde's death in September 1987.

  3. It was a pleasure to know Frank right after I graduate Ringling Brothers clown college in 1980 we were working the same festival together. Frank being my first real gig Frank reached out to me and gave me pointers we became friends. Over years I learned lot about Frank his past growing up in the circus.lot people say lot bad things about Frank those people never knew the real Frank and how warm and giving he was to his fans Frank would give the shirt off his back to help anyone who is in need. He truly had sawdust in blood.
