KANSAS AND MISSOURI POLITICOS HELP GOP STORM CLOSED-DOOR PREZ TRUMP IMPEACHMENT HEARING!!! REPUBLICANS UNITE AMID 2020 ELECTION THREAT?!?

In much the same way that Kansas City weed lovers raised a ruckus today over City Hall procedure . . . GOP Missouri and Kansas members of Congress crashed a meeting and then held a press conference.

A roundup of today's hot mess in the House is stolen quoted from a lesser Kansas City news outlet but I'm taking it because none of their reporters were on the scene and they're just writing what they watched on cable news like everybody else . . .

Three lawmakers from the Kansas City region were among the group of House Republicans who disrupted the House impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump on Wednesday.

In the chaotic aftermath, Rep. Roger Marshall, R-Kansas, told reporters that between 15 and 30 GOP lawmakers stormed the secure room where impeachment hearings are taking place in an effort to force House Democrats to make the proceedings public.

Rep. Steve Watkins, R-Kansas, and Rep. Vicky Hartzler, R-Missouri, were also among those who participated. All three have competitive races next year in which President Trump’s support could be crucial.

And so . . .

MISSOURI & KANSAS CONSERVATIVES ONCE AGAIN ENTHUSIASTICALLY JUMP ON THE PREZ TRUMP BANDWAGON AS 2020 ELECTION SEASON  APPROACHES!!!

  1. The Republicans had 3 years to develop another strategy but they stuck with backing Trump.

The only problem is that Trump clones rarely do as well as the real thing and the strategy didn't work for them in 2018. Looks like Democrats are taking back the Senate. Not going to work out well for people who don't want to be taxed into a lower income bracket.

      Actually, there are two.

Missouri Auditor Galloway will replace Republican Governor Mike Parson.

And Barbara Bollier will flip a Kansas Senate seat from Red To blue. First time in 50 years.

It ain't a blue wave, it's a pink wave this time. We're also probably going to have our first female President.

But that is the last thing you want, because giving the opposition the right to respond will reveal this latest farce to be just what it is.

    Keep hoping though. ;)

  5. Keep watching the constipated news network and MSLSD for your fake news, you people have had four resolutions this year alone to impeach Trump and they only had the balls to vote on one of them (July) and they’re too chickenshit to vote on the current one, by the way, they refused to vote on the first two, the third attempt failed 332 to 95 and they know they can’t get enough votes on the fourth and current impeachment inquiry. They also had two other resolutions for impeachment, one in 2017 and one in 2018 which also failed miserably (6 total attempts so far) What does that tell you about any demmocrim prospects of winning anything in the near future? Even they know and now the public is fully aware of the “witch hunts” against our great President. Wake up morons, just because you hate President Trump doesn’t make him an evil or bad President. He’s for the people and you hate him? You’re idiots.

  6. I remember a comment from earlier this month that nailed it, basically said that impeachment is nothing but a trick to get the Republicans to align with Trump and then use him as an albatross around their neck for the 2020 election. It looks like they're falling for it.

The smarter Republicans like Blunt are keeping themselves at an arm's length from this b.s.

    The Hitler hysteria.

    The mass fascism hysteria.

    The anti-Semitism hysteria.

    The white supremacist terrorism hysteria.

    Russian spy whales.

    Perfume assassins.

The endless stream of fabricated “news” stories pumped out by the corporate media.

    Best-selling books, based on nothing.

Comedians singing hymns to former FBI directors on national television.

    Celebrities demanding CIA coups.

Papers of record like The New York Times coordinating blatant propaganda campaigns.

Maybe this time, the Triumvirate will indeed bring down Trump.

The “Narrative Collapse” that eventually accompanied the aforementioned “Scandals” brought no shame, nor cessation of the continuing assaults on Trump. “Bellum Se Ipsum Alet”. This War Will Feed Itself

  26. The comical GOP stunt today shows how desperate the Republicans have become.

They are realizing that they are headed into an election with the Albatross of Trump hanging around the neck of every candidate running for any office in the Country.

Another symptom of their desperation is the mewling of "RINO" every time a Republican with any shreds of respect for the Constitution or the Rule Of Law dares to admit that the unbalanced antics of the Sociopathic Egotist occupying the White House is damaging the Party.

The Democrats are actually playing this game very well, sitting back and carrying on in a calm manner as the out-of-control fringe of the GOP creates spectacles like we saw today.

All that is needed is to run out the clock so the Bill Of Impeachment doesn't reach the Senate until January, giving Trump the remainder of the year to demonstrate how erratic and frightened he is becoming.

He is the Democrat's best weapon,
his raging and incoherent blathering are increasing exponentially on a daily basis.

  30. Pushing for strong borders, military, economy, job growth and pride in being American -- all things that most Americans want and admire, and the opposite of what Democrats want and admire at this point in time. These juvenile attempts to impeach and ruin Trump by the Dems and the media are horrendous and show a real lack of integrity and due process. It's despicable. As an independent voter (voted for Obama), I hope Trump wins in a landslide in 2020. I can't side with a group that believes the end justifies any means. It's just not right.

  32. The GOP again shows they don't care about the rule of law or national security.

There are nearly 40 GOP House members that sit on the 3 committees that have access to question all the witnesses.

The idiots that showed up today don't sit on those committees and need to follow their own rules. They aren't allowed, period. Trey Gowdy (R) wrote in the Benghazi report that witness statements need to be taken in secret to protect classified information and prevent potential targets from conspiring together on testimony. During a senate impeachment trial, this evidence will be publicly debated and Trump will have every chance to defend himself. But not at this stage of the investigation.

Worse than breaking their own rules, the GOP members violated national security directives by bringing electronic devices to the SCIF. They refused to check their phones and many transmitted audio, video, and tweets from the secured location. That is also a violation of House rules. People routinely lose their security clearances for this type careless action.

Marshall can forget about running for Roberts senate seat. He voted to against the bipartisan Turkey resolution last week and forgave Trump's actions in starting a new conflict in the middle east and endorsing an ethnic cleansing campaign. Now he proved he has no business around classified information. He should be kicked out of the House.

While it's easy to mock Watkins, Hartzler, and Marshall as clowns for participating in this circus stunt, this is serious and they needed to be disciplined for their actions. None of them deserve reelection in 2020.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Rep. Roger Marshall, R-Kansas, Rep. Steve Watkins, R-Kansas, and Rep. Vicky Hartzler, R-Missouri, were also among those who participated, proving there is zero daylight between their lips and Trump's criminal ass.

    Vote accordingly.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Why isn't there a link to the local article?

Is it because the below the fold Watkins' quotes prove he's a buffoon that doesn't attend his committee hearings and doesn't even understand his job. He should have been listening to the actual testimony instead of participating in a staged sit-in like some triggered snowflake college freshman. He won't survive his primary and will then move to Boston like he originally planned in 2018.

"Watkins was also in the crowd of Republicans to follow Gaetz, his office confirmed. Unlike Marshall and Hartzler, Watkins does have permission to enter the secure room as a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

“While I don’t know what I’m even allowed to share because I don’t understand these official formalities, I do know that I will tell the world everything that I can and the truth will come out with time.”

  35. We’ve learned one important thing about the dummocucks, they’re desperate and will do anything to gain attention and distract voters with their scams and lies, they are scared to death. They will lose big at the polls because the people are sick of their antics and most importantly their lack of doing their jobs.

A bunch of them brought their phones in....an offense that would cost staff their jobs in short order. Yet, here we are with the uneducated masses, like those above in the TKC comments, acting like this was some sort of high minded right morally right decision.

It's sad that in this country we have a large segment of the population that finds this acceptable and even admirable.

    1. It was a 'stunt' that absolutely worked to illustrate the continued absurdity of the nonstop attempt by the Dems to overturn the last election. That's all they've tried to do since Trump got elected.

Schiff doesn't want any daylight in these hearings because he knows he has nothing. It's as simple as that. Being s huge drama queen, he's appropriated one of the most secure sites in the Capitol for his silly, secret little party.

Vote if you're serious about impeachment. You won't, because you haven't got the votes. This isn't even an investigation; it's a bit of electoral theater designed to get out the anemic Dem votes. Schiff has already been caught lying about his contacts with the 'whistleblower'.

      Talk about moronic. ;)

In other news, there will never be a vote on impeachment. Why can't you just admit this is just another bullshit attempt to remove a duly elected President? Which will fail as the others have. Sorry kiddo.

The reason? Your Dem leaders know that your candidates are weak, weak, weak, and have no prayer in the election.

You remember elections, silly ass? That's how we settle who should be President. You lost the last one though you have tried to pretend you didn't, and you will definitely lose the next one. ;)

  43. Well represented, Kansas, by Steve Watkins, one of the "Storm Troopers" who broke several Federal Laws and violated House Rules put into effect long ago.

But then Representative Watkins is the charming fellow who admits to having suffered a "significant Brain injury" while fighting as a Mercenary in Afghanistan, who had never even voted in Kansas until he ran for a Seat in Congress, and who was elected by less than a majority of the votes cast (47.6%) after the Kansas GOP funded a third Party candidate to pull votes from his opponent.

Ironically, Watkins had every right to have attended the hearings, since he is a member of one of the three Committees holding them, but chose not to fulfill his Committee duties in order to join the GOP "Storm Troops" in "storming the Hearing.
