Audit: Missouri taxpayers paid $200K in Greitens legal fees

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - A Missouri audit report shows that taxpayers spent more than $200,000 to defend former Gov. Eric Greitens' use of a self-deleting text message app. A 2017 lawsuit alleged Greitens' office used the app Confide to subvert Missouri's open records laws. The case was dismissed in July.

  3. Ok, but the real story is the US Navy just recently allowing this douche to re-enter as a Reservist. It is an obvious attempt by Greitens to reach 20 satisfactory years of service and secure his military pension since his political career is trashed. Way to go Navy....Courage, Honor, Commitment. Sends a great signal to all those who served with the those values in mind (and certainly would not have been given the sweetheart deal Greitens was).
