Sheriff Forte hoping to reduce crime near 40 Highway Walmart
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is calling on community members, business owners and local law enforcement agencies to work together to reduce crime near the Walmart on U.S. 40 Highway. Sheriff Darryl Forte' held a public meeting Sunday to invite residents to share their concerns about crime and safety in the area.
On a Sunday, man he is doing all he can to rack up those overtime checks.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest. The Sheriff should be focusing on other issues. He has hundreds of sex offenders out of compliance, he has thousands of warrants for probation violators and other criminals, he has a trigger happy female deputy who’s already shot two people who supposedly took her taser from her. He has deputies who were fired from other departments and hired without background checks. The list goes on.
ReplyDeleteForte's all show. Why are unincorporated areas of the county going without law enforcement while deputies drive around kcmo playing like they're the real police. Still a clown show out there.
ReplyDeleteHe didn’t do squat about crime when he was Chief. Doubt that this new title is going to change much. he loves to be on camera though... maybe he’s auditioning for some reality show.
ReplyDeleteHe gave folks on the real east side a 30 minute heads up that he was going to hold a meeting in lees summit to discuss the serious problems at and around the Walmart on 40hwy, during a chiefs game. One person showed up. He got ripped a new one on the next door neighbor app for his stupidity. He just says shit on the app to make it look like he's doing something when it’s business as usual by not doing anything. By the way, he’s doing the same thing he did at kcpd, he only shows up to work one or two days a week and gets paid for a full week of work.
ReplyDeleteThe Sheriff is not a well-respected law enforcement officer. He is not a crime fighter. Forte is a political showman and a political hack of Frank White. We need a professional law enforcement executive at this position. Not a part -time law school student.
