Eight proposals could bring multi-million dollar revitalization to KC's urban core
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A plan to pour millions of dollars in to rejuvenate KC's urban core is now coming to life. On Wednesday, city leaders heard plans that some say are needed for the struggling area. "39th and Prospect is the heartbeat of Kansas City," said Pat Clarke with the Oak Park Neighborhood Association.
What good did the hundred million do that we already spent on suspect avenue? None. It’s time money gets spent on other deserving and viable areas of town. Money spent on Prospect has only benefited the fat fake revs and no one else.

ReplyDeleteStill looking for tax money while at the same time the homicide rate soars and continues without any cooperation from the residents of those neighborhoods or any serious action by urban core "leaders".
ReplyDeleteOr any effective action or accountability by the menagerie of fake "anti-crime" nonprofits, all throwing away tax dollars by the millions year after year.
No one is going to invest any money in a part of town that continues to have that level of violence, and the taxpayers shouldn't be forced to waste their money there either.

ReplyDeleteTake a few million dollars from KCMO taxpayers, put the bills into heavy steel boxes, drive to the middle of the bridge, and toss them over the railing.
