For now . . . Here's a sign that 12th & Oak politicos continue to argue over how to run local government but might deserve a pat on the back for keeping their building in decent working order.

Downtown JaxCo Courthouse back to 2 working elevators

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Jackson County Courthouse in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, now has two of its six elevators working again after maintenance last week led to only one functioning elevator. Marshanna Smith, a spokeswoman for Jackson County Executive Frank White, said in a statement Monday morning that repairs had been completed on an elevator that was taken out of service Thursday for a potential mechanical issue.
