The frustration is building with only one elevator currently working at the 15-story courthouse in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

INDEPENDENCE, MO (KCTV) - Authorities said that one person was struck by a train near Independence Friday afternoon. The incident happened around 3 p.m. in the area of Highway 24 and Wilson. Officials with the Independence Police Department said the person had been injured but did not elaborate on the extent of the injuries.

  2. The county had a contract to install new elevators, but cancelled it when the contractor did not meet minority and woman owned business set asides. Now only one elevator works. Total stupidity.
