Buck O'Neil Bridge among several Missouri is giving away
KANSAS CITY, MO (AP/KCTV) - In the market for a bridge? There is one in KC free for the taking. The Missouri Department of Transportation is giving away at least eight old bridges, including the Buck O'Neil Bridge that was formerly known as the Broadway Bridge.
The sound of taxpayer dollars being flushed down the toilet.
ReplyDeleteThey give these to towns who use them in their parks, we have a shitty old bridge in south killa shitty that is used as decoration and lovebirds put locks on them, they call it red bridge people, same thing will happen with these other bridges.
ReplyDeleteThat the local media regurgitate government press releases like these is just a travesty. Sure, you can have the bridge, if you pay to dismantle and move it, saving the state millions.
ReplyDeleteThe accurate way to report this is, RFPs for bridge removal are being accepted and bids start at $1.
^^^ the money the highway dept gets isn’t being spent where it needs to be spent, simple as that besides, sLIE pissed off jeff city so bad we can’t get money unless something totally collapses, sLIE has more blame in this than anybody anyway so.....
ReplyDeleteLet the niggers have it they can shoot at each other on it away from civilized white people
ReplyDeleteI can't even do IKEA... not gonna try a bridge.
ReplyDeleteMaybe move the baseball and jazz museums down to the bridge.
