Black faculty numbers increase at University of Missouri
COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Four years after student protesters denouncing a racist campus culture and demanding a more diverse faculty disrupted the University of Missouri, school data indicates minority hires have edged up but still lag the national average.
Cue up more shrieks of “racism” rising from the yoga studios and cappuccino bars.

ReplyDeleteThe minority student numbers are up (according to MU) but white students are still way down since 2015. White students account for about 90 percent of the student body so it is still a net loss of overall students.
ReplyDeleteIf they hire a black lesbian, they get three diversity points. If the hiree is actually qualified to teach the subject, they get another point. Mostly though, they have to settle for just the three points. If they accumulate enough diversity points, they get to hire a white guy to teach STEM classes.
