And yet, Kansas City's City Council not only refuses to honor a valid petition from the people and put it to a public vote, they also refuse to give an explanation as to why. Chastain & the Committee of Petitioners seek a court order forcing the City to place the "Green Transit" petition before voters (November 5) in its "original form."
