Remember Kansas City Moneyball Glory Days

A useful guide to discount glory and lower expectations as Kansas City endures the first to worst bad times this season . . .

How the Kansas City Royals won the 2015 World Series

After the Royals' 72-90 2012 season, general manager Dayton Moore was in fact already preparing for their 2015 World Series triumph. Moore, like Oakland's Billy Beane should be seen as a game changer in modern baseball front office practices.

  1. interesting that this is written from someone over in the UK. They even refer to us as "Kansas".

Also nice that it's not caught up in the local fanboyism that groups the 2014 and 2015 world series as the same bunch. The 2015 team was much different than 2014 but local autists can't seem to separate them in their mind. This is a good example of how an outsider perspective is good.
