How Will Kansas City Commemorate Ferguson Unrest 5th Anniversary?!?!

Almost 5 years ago, a controversial shooting spent a Missouri suburb spiraling out of control as racially charged riots dominated national headlines for months.

Thankfully, in Kansas City, the response was mostly prayer vigils and a few angst-y marches.

Dr. Ernest Evans puts the event in context with EXCEPTIONAL INFO on longstanding promises and a challenge to the new mayor with a recent note to our blog community:

"We as a nation are approaching the fifth anniversary of the Ferguson tragedy--the killing of black teenager Michael Brown by white Ferguson police officer Darrell Wilson on August 9, 2014. That tragedy led to a wave of negative coverage of the nation's police forces. In consequence, virtually every police department in the US is seriously under strength. As for KCMO, at the end of calendar year 2013, the last year before Ferguson, the KCPD had 1424 sworn officers. At the end of calendar year 2017 (the last year for which there are figures), the KCPD had 1284 officers. Bringing the KCPD up to full strength must be a priority for the new mayor."

  2. "Celebrating" it by hiring more police would be nice. Hope Quinton can do something besides talk.

    ^^Racist hate

Police killed 1,165 people in 2018.

There were only 22 days in all of last year where police didn’t kill someone. Despite all the protests, marches, training seminars, thoughts and prayers, in 2018, cops killed 36 more people than they did the year before, according to Mapping Police Violence and the Washington Post.

And despite being 12.6 percent of the U.S. population, black people were 26.7 percent of the people killed by police where the race was known. The number of black people killed by police in the last year (215) was more than all the police who died in the line of duty (148), U.S. servicemen killed in action (2) and Americans killed by Islamic terrorists (0) combined.

  5. Hey Byron, look of the homicide statistics for St. Louis and you will see why that is so. But, being a lazy, clueless democrat, I doubt you will do that so I'm going to post the link here.

  6. The videos seen over the last few days of cops being shot with water guns, dowsed with water buckets and hit in the head with those buckets, in addition to the videos of people being beaten by groups of blacks, is prima facie of the erosion of the Rule Of Law.

    https://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2019/07/26/teens-attack-man-outside-dc-hotel-newday-vpx.cnn

Those beat downs, just over the last 48 hours, are a microcosm of a national problem of metastasizing black violence, especially (LOOK AT THOSE VIDEOS) black on white violence and the inability of Law Enforcement to enforce the law, especially in Progressive cities.

Law Enforcement, as Dr. Evans has noted, is now a gelded and crippled organ in a dying patient.

In some form, in the not too distant future, it is not hard to imagine outraged citizens taking the law into their own hands and culling the filth out of the streets.

The rat infestations in Los Angeles, Baltimore, New York and other cities are a metaphor for the human vermin that also, must, at some point, be eliminated with extreme prejudice from the streets, where they infest law abiding citizens with Bubonic Plague and chaos.

Violence is the ONLY thing that these sub human parasites understand.

  8. Byron, this is a local blog, so let's just take the murder count here in KC, that reaches around 150 annually.

A couple of years ago, the pictures of the victims and the perps were printed in the Kansas City Star.

Now, keep in mind, that the clearance rate is only around 50% on a good year.

The pictures of the perps, were at least 80% black. The victims about 50% blacks.

You don't have to be Alan Turing to extrapolate that the rest of the murders, the lion's share of the outrageously disproportionate criminality that is properly associated with the 13% of the population is BLACK.

You would have to be as dumb as Robert Mueller to pretend that violent contact between the police department and criminal blacks just might, might be the reason there is violent outcomes when it comes to interaction with your heroes.

Ferguson, is a great example. The scum bag piece of shit, DID NOT HAVE HIS HANDS UP AND RIGHT AFTER STRONG ARMING A RETAIL CLERK, HE TRIED TO TAKE AN OFFICER'S GUN AND WAS SHOT DEAD.

Hopefully the piece of shit, is in hell, fellating the Devil.

    It's where he should be.

Always thought the Ferguson B.S. was manufactured by the media to help with the election. Glad it backfired.

  11. The people of Ferguson turned their backs on their police department and effect is still destroying communities today. Those people in Ferguson will rot in Hell.

  13. Chuck you can't talk common sense to those like Byron. First they have to have some common sense which he does not. He went to Paden High School as Mark did in WV were I am finding out he was not very well liked there anymore than his hate is here. Couple of his ex classmates don't really find it strange he would haunt us here in Kansas City as he does. Nobody seems to recall his Dad Chester abusing the kids any.

  15. By the way 8:36...how many blacks WERE KILLED BY OTHER BLACKS?

  16. And Michael Brown is still dead and society is better off for it.

  17. How will it be celebrated?
By African Americans "Dancing In The Streets" of course!

  18. ^^^No, he advocated self defense as needed to protect one's self, family and property. The police can't do it, the politicians won't do it, so we will have to do it ourselves.
