TKC DOUBLE-CROSS JUXTAPOSITION!!! SHARE WINNING PREDICTIONS FOR KANSAS CITY ELECTION NIGHT!!!

It's down to the wire and now the after work voter wave is the last chance for politicos to make their pitch.

To wit and before it's too late . . .

PLEASE SHARE PREDICTIONS, INSIGHTS AND OPINIONS FOR TONIGHT'S EPIC KANSAS CITY ELECTION BATTLE ROYALE!!!

A quick run down of what we're hearing . . .

- Insiders are saying it will be close. They claim the margin of victory will be less than double digits no matter who proves victorious. But Quinton supporters seem confident going in . . .

- 4th District might qualify for a recount already.

- Best tidbit of the day: Some campaign workers were chided for smoking weed before handing out info.

- Turnout has been decent throughout the day. The weather has held up and we're seeing more voters across Midtown and into the urban core. Northland voting numbers are falling behind BUT better than last time around as well.

- Freebies abound. For locals out on the town tonight, bring "I Voted" Stickers.

- Clay was right there was no place for a write-in vote on the paper ballot. This election rule might not be constitutional and certainly deserves further scrutiny.

- Tonight's Quinton Lucas watch party will be at the Wonder Shops and Flats on the East Side whereas the Jolie Justus for Mayor campaign will host an election night watch party at the Mulberry Room for friends and supporters. The days of Mayor Sly's watch parties at The Chamber HQ at Union Station are now a thing of the past.

Deadline:

Polls Close at 7:00 p.m.

One last thing . . .

Let's not forget that MOST KANSAS CITY VOTERS WERE UNDECIDED right up until they were given their ballots.

And so, here's just a bit more info for last minute election denizens . . .

  1. Clay needs to contest this one in court. He would win.

    1. Surprised those "campaign workers" are only doing weed. Seems like heroin would be the better option given these choices.

  2. No matter who wins KC loses this one I'm afraid.

    ReplyDelete
  3. everyone I know is voting for jolie. I know that's not evidence of any outcome though

I refuse to vote for either of these dipsits

    ReplyDelete
  4. Better title for you, T:

The mayor will be gay either way.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Soooo Super Dave, who would've been a win for KC?

    ReplyDelete
  6. I skipped the question. I couldn't being myself to vote for either. Shields was a no, Andrea Bough was a no, Hartsfield was a no, and so was Jolley. A city of million and it comes down to these clowns?

    ReplyDelete
  7. Jolie eats a lot of pussy

    ReplyDelete
  8. All the black people will be voting when they get off work, right?

    ReplyDelete
  9. I've kinda grown weary of hearing that Jolie would be the first "openly LGBTQ" mayor. She's an L and/or a G, but for christ's sake, can we not lump her in with Bruce Jenner and Brad Manning? What, all lesbians and all transsexuals are the same thing now?

  10. Vegas favors Lucas!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Quinton should have his watch party at the gay bar in Lawrence where he gets drunk and sucks dick.

    ReplyDelete
  12. ^^^^ I'm sure you'll miss him. Try to find some solace at the bottom of that glass.

    Bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  13. As usual, Dave is 100% correct. This election will work out horribly for all of KC. We've got tow politicians who don't know anything about leadership or how to run a city. They're both not the least bit qualified and don't have much of experience outside of their close circle of friends. The only bright side here is that who ever wins won't get a 2nd term.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Predict a surprise win for Jolie.

Double digits. ANd of course Quinton is going to say that it's racism.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I will say this, if the "Vegas favors Quinton Lucas" guy was right all along, that'll prove that you can actually learn a thing or two from reading this dumb ass blog.

  16. Clay Should contest this b.s.

No write-in candidates is a total con job and makes KC look like some small backwater town. I thought we were supposed to be best in the Midwest?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Clay gets 1000 write-in votes and will tip the election if we had a write in slot. Totally a RIGGED election.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Still notice that Sly doesn't seem too confident. What a crybaby, I guess he doesn't like Quinton because they have too much in common.

  19. Your granny's gay lover who was not your "aunt" after all6/18/19, 6:02 PM

Prediction: Jolie Justus wins it by 7% margin.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Byron Funkhouser6/18/19, 6:04 PM

Some day, when you have electronic voting, there will be no space for a write-in.

He could of run on the first ballot. Oh wait, he did run. He lost.

Justus will win, though I would of voted for Lucas.

  24. 25% voter turnout tops.
So for starters apathy comes out on top.
    And Super Dave's right.
Residents and businesses in KCMO are the big losers.
    Again.
    Or maybe, still.
    Sad.

  25. Who cares.... KC is bankrupt and in the shitter. Detroit is way better!

    ReplyDelete
  26. No common law in Missouri. So her references to her partner aren't really appropriate.. They have a right to be gay, but we have a right not to have to hear about it. Clay, sue. laws are being broken right and left why do we even have them? Mixed messages and open season anything goes...
    SAD!

  27. both candidates plicked lovely venues for their watch parties.

  28. I bet the KCFD ambulance was busy today taking inter city folks to the polls to vote for one of two Democrates for KC Mayor who will keep that free ride service in place for da poor dat dont have msurance, cuz they got no JOB, now they probabley had to wait on hold for 10 minuets while requesting that ride, but its wasnt a emergency so who cares!! And their vote will get whoever they vote for to the polls in another fo years!! But hey look KCFD and Its ambulance is Union and their Union Votes LEFT so keep giving the free rides mother fuckers and eventually the tax payers will reorganize your services in this city, might take time but watch for it !!

    ReplyDelete
  35. We we’re doomed no matter what

    ReplyDelete
  36. 8:42 Lucas favors city workers so.....

    ReplyDelete
  37. What none of the TV Stations have discussed so far is how much this decision is a repudiation of both Sly James and Jolie Justus.

Neither of them will be remembered when the thing they both pointed to with pride as their greatest accomplishment, the destroyed and reduced "new KCI" is opened. It will be a "Lucas" new Airport.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I bet sLIE is slamming some scotch right about now, he actually claimed Jolie was gonna need him as an advisor! Hahahahaha!

    ReplyDelete
  39. 9:26 sLIE hates Lucas and he knows it, don’t look for sLIE at the grand opening of the airport! Hahahahaha!
