Yordano Ventura's estate remains without money

SOURCE: AP Images More than two years have passed since the death of Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Yordano Ventura, and his estate has no money left.Court records reviewed by KMBC 9 News show no indication the Kansas City Royals have paid more than $20 million remaining on Ventura's contract at the time of his death, when he crashed his custom Jeep in 2017 in the Dominican Republic.That could have to do with the status of toxicology reports and whether the results might nullify any payment to Ventura's estate.
