An academic argument claims that an upstart lady politico and her unique perspective hold promise for better representation for all denizens of flyover country.

Author David Treuer on rewriting the Native American narrative
Description:
A new work of history and reporting urges readers to consider a more complex culture that is not only still living, but evolving. Jeffrey Brown sits down with David Treuer, author of “The Heartbeat of Wounded Knee.”
In this passage, the author contends that Rep. Sharice Davids represents hope for all Kansans:
You decide . . .
Hopefully, she has been relatively quiet so far and she hasn't really lived up to being the Occasio-Cortez of Kansas. She shied away from any talk about impeachment but she'll have to pick a side on that sooner or later. That will determine if she is a one-termer or not.
ReplyDelete^^^^ Way better than one and done. She obliterated Yoder and there isn't anybody who can beat her. In the meantime I see the Kansas GOP just grumbling and not doing much to create unity. The abortion debate isn't going to win back Johnson County or female voters.
DeleteShe is one and done you can bank on that. Hope for what? Kansas City Mo has shown what happens when you put losers into office and then try and vote more in. Davids has failed at everything she has done and will fail politically as well. She' a lesbian because she is such a mess even men don't want any of it.
ReplyDeleteBy extension, hope for the country, & the world.
ReplyDeleteEven more so than Barack Obama, her election represents justice.
She extends hope to retards like you that even a retard can get elected to Congress. It pays better than your welfare check. You should go for it.
Delete9:12 and thank god your opinion is just as worthless as she is.
ReplyDeleteShe's dangerous and should be banned from Facebook and twitter.
ReplyDeleteSharice is fun but overrated. She's a branding campaign not a legislator. Deal with it.
ReplyDeleteAuthor David Treuer
ReplyDeleteLike Senator Elizabeth "Pocahontas" Warren and former Star editorial board member Mary "Voice of the Latina" Sanchez, Treuer attempts to advance himself and make a career via cultural misappropriation.
Treuer's mother was part Ojibwe and his father was a European Jew. He was born in Washington, D.C. and went to college at Princeton. He currently teaches at the Univ. Southern California. He's an East-coast Liberal now transplanted in the Los Angeles area. And this interview was done with PBS, a politically liberal taxpayer-dependent ward of the federal government.
Hope for what? She's failed at everything she's done, even her campaign for Congress had no hope if it weren't propped up by all the out-of-state leftist backers with massive amounts of dark money.
ReplyDeleteHope she’s not for equal poverty. Alas, she is.
ReplyDeleteCan anyone explain what scissoring is??? And Davis and AOC look related. Any thoughts?
ReplyDelete^^^ it’s a lesbo thing, they rub their crotches together......
ReplyDeleteSharice is a stupid lesbian
ReplyDeleteShe is a one term wonder. The Johnson County moderates made their point and with the re-election of Trump, she is gone, but who replaces her?
ReplyDeleteputting way too much hope into an empty vessel
