Obamacare/Trumpcare will pretty much ensure that a gallstone kills grandma BUT instead of looking at the big picture, the newspaper wants to make their last remaining readers feel bad about home ownership. Take a look:
JoCo sees hospital building boom while underserved areas of Kansas City are ignored
Hospitals are rushing to build or expand in Johnson County, while other parts of the Kansas City area are struggling with health care deserts. AdventHealth is set to build an 85-bed hospital in a wealthy area of south Overland Park that already has four full-service hospitals within 10 miles.
Hey, they build wherever the people that have money to pay are, nothing wrong with that, besides, you can’t have screaming broke ass negroes ruin everything, the rest of the good people deserve a nice un-ruined place to go.
ReplyDeleteYes, for-profit hospitals tend to be built in areas where patients will be responsible for their bills. That isn’t the case in the ghetto.
ReplyDeleteWe have reached the point where everything is now racist
ReplyDeleteAs the saying goes; if everything is racist, then nothing is.
ReplyDeleteKansas City has no room for new hospitals the mayor is busy building cheap Apartments with brand new sidewalks that were suppose to be replaced in existing areas with OUR GO BOND MONEY! Besides who wants to deal with gun shot victims everyday, there are sick people who need help, not people who get shot over remote controls.
We get better facilities because we are better people.
ReplyDeleteThe more affluent get the goodies.
Always has been. Always will be.

ReplyDeleteThere are only 2 Church's Chicken places in JoCo and dozens in Jax and WyCo.
ReplyDeleteJoCo is underserved.
Maybe if the KC Star would learn from the healthcare industry then they wouldn't be broke.
ReplyDeleteSupporting thugs and minorities always trying to get something for nothing doesn't get you to profitability. Then of course there are the politicians...who wants to always deal with those who support "Open Spaces", 18th and Vine and the KC Streetcar and Bike KC?
An article on Yahoo News (As good or better than McClatchy) says a lot about millennials and living with their parents, good read.
Zzzzzzzz. Boring.
ReplyDeleteUse to be Nuns, Jesuits & churches assisted the poor and destitute but America decided they didn't like a side of God with free healthcare services. This is the result for the poor.
ReplyDeleteWait, you mean to tell me goods and services go to the areas that can/will pay for them? I'll be damn. My wife works at an urban hospital in KC, I won't say which one but it is a trauma center that gets lots of shootings, stabbings, violent crime in general. The staff there routinely saves the worthless lives of useless gang-bangers who are nothing but dangers to society. The care of these felons goes into the hundreds of thousands of dollars to save the life of someone who may very well carjack you, rob you, or kill you later in life. Do you think they are paying to get their lives saved? Fuck no. Us taxpayers are. Oh, and you should see it when De'Quanelius is in the emergency room, it becomes family reunion time. Well, all family except men, they are noticeably absent. A ton (literally and figuratively) of fat ass women show up with KFC and make themselves at home. Other people there and are grieving? So what, it's party time with strawberry pop and buckets of KFC, loud as hell and don't give one shit about anybody else. Also, why not have your multiple toddlers in a hospital at 3 AM, awake and raising hell? Invariably these cows and their room temperature IQ will get in the face/assault hospital staff because De'Quanelius isn't recovering as well as his fat ass mom, auntie, and grandmama (who is 38 year old) think he should be because after all, they are so much smarter than surgeons. The hood is more than sufficiently covered with hospitals, this article is bullshit.
ReplyDeleteFigured it was bad, but that paints a whole new picture.
DeleteRE: "Hospitals are rushing to build or expand in Johnson County, while other parts of the Kansas City area are struggling with health care deserts."
ReplyDeleteJoCo Kansas, you know, where most of the Star editorial board members reside!
Health care desert?
BREAKING!! Like they did with grocery stores, KCMO announces they will finance and own their own hospitals in the urban core.
They (we) already do. It's called Truman Medical Center.
DeleteThe article states that Truman will admit anyone, regardless of ability to pay, and also provides free transportation on request.
ReplyDeleteAnd the area is still referred to as a "health care desert"?
What's the next demand?
Free doctor house visits?
Just the latest wailing from the Star and their endless victimization agenda.
What part your ass are you pulling these headlines?
ReplyDeleteAll they need is a couple of doctors to treat syphilis and gun shot wounds.
ReplyDeleteWait until the socialist take over health care. There goes the neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteNewsflash.. hospitals want to make money. Trauma and drama won't make you money.
ReplyDelete10:35 - Your wife works at Truman, I know her very well if ya know what I mean, sometimes you get sloppy seconds any you dont even know it so deal with it! I work at station 19 and we love other peoples pussy!!
ReplyDelete^^^An obvious lie. You're not smart enough to have a job.
ReplyDeleteJust another reason healthcare needs fixin. take the profit out and things change. Or when all have equal insurance high profit areas are not so high profit anymore.
ReplyDeleteEven though some riff raff has leaked in from KCMO and WYCO, JOCO is still an affluent area and it’s no surprise that services such as medical care are going to be superior there.
