WORTH IT TO RISK LIVES IN METH TOWN OVER SEAT BELT TICKET?!?!

This report once again evokes concern about local police chase policy and priorities. What's troubling is that authorities want very little public input on their tactics despite constant talk of "community outreach" when looking for political support. Fact is, community outcry against police chase policy is longstanding throughout the metro as yet another season of these dangerous and sometimes deadly pursuits await. While we absolute agree with authorities that the majority of blame lies with perpetrators attempting to avoid capture . . . Let's not ignore the fact that VOTERS want authorities held accountable as well.
