TKC MUST SEE!!! KCPD CONFRONT PUSH BACK ON UPCOMING 4/20 CRACKDOWN!!!

It's fair warning but mostly propaganda, hype and filler for local newscasts . . .

Today police reminded locals that they'll be on the lookout for stoners behind the wheel with this stat taken right out of the 1936 classic "Reefer Madness" . . .

@kcpolice: "In 35.4% of fatal MO crashes in 2017, the driver tested positive for at least one drug. We'll be out in force on 4/20. Drive high, get a DUI. #impaireddriving"

The discussion has been both inspiring and entertaining . . .

"Nicotine is a drug... Legal medications test positive for drugs.. this is quite a broad statement. But it implies they we're all positive for thc which is not an indication of intoxication so..."

KCPD reply . . . "Drug here = any substance that can cause mental impairment, from sleep meds to THC to meth"

The retort . . .

"Nicotine gives me buzz. That could be considered mental impairment. If I smoke weed 29 days ago am I still impaired from it? I take aderrall prescribed by my dr which tests positive for meth, so I shouldn't drive?"

Counterargument . . .

"In other news 35.4% of drivers that were not involved in accidents had drugs in their systems."

Stat game . . .

"The 35.4% was not weed!! And if it was it was with other drugs, fake news"

Tragic conclusion . . .

"If I feel better I drive better and I definitely feel better when I'm drunk."

And so given recent statements from the Jackson County Prosecutor that weed possession won't be prosecuted . . .

KCPD NOW CONFRONT THE TASK OF ARGUING THE LAW WITH STONERS!!!

It seems like soul crushing work and so we thank the po-po for protecting our local streets from so many dangerous drivers as this media-imagined "holiday" always sparks illuminating conversations revealing that just about everybody is high on something.

You decide . . .

  5. Where's Sharice? Why is she not handling things in JOCO? She said she didn't like the way things were going....well what is she doing about her community? Is this the way she wants things going?
