Should Kansas City Build New Jail?!?

The public has been mostly excluded from this discussion as politicos and activists FAILED to settle the matter behind the scenes. Here's an important overview of the question that will begin yet another local human rights hot mess like the unresolved Jackson County Jail drama. Read more:

Some KC leaders push for city to build its own jail

The Jackson County jail is about to stop housing city inmates. Because of that, city leaders are scrambling to come up with a plan. The jail's problems with overcrowding, staffing and security means they cannot handle Kansas City's inmates."They don't want us at all. The sheriff does not want us at all.

  1. Put it on prospect where all the crime the blackies commit, or better yet, put it on mlk street, now that would be a perfect fit!

  2. Careful. We need to save money to chip in on the HYPERLINK from here to St. Louis. Billions needed. Add to Sly's legacy. Airport and Hyperlink, WOW!

  3. Fill that taxpayer indebted hotel with jail cells. Put Sly and the Felony Stooges on the top floor. Make them walk the stairs to the basement to sh*t, shower, and chow!4/25/19, 12:16 AM

Just bunk the baddies in Burke's shakedown show piece he was bought off with by the Biggie Bow-Tie! That place is gonna have vacancies aplenty. Hell, there ain't no 25 million tourists, anally, around this murder momentum cowtown.

  4. I can’t imagine how awful the Jackson County jail was with it being the hotel for KCMO.

The truth is that KCMO needs it’s own jail. Not just some mediocre city jail with transgender bathrooms. I’m talking about a multi security level prison complex.

You want some affordable housing? There ya go. Want some trash pickup? Start using the chain gangs again. Stop your crying over it too. “Oh that’s so mean” boo hoo.

  6. Yes KC needs it own jail. A great place for it would be the four corners at Armour and Troost, there's a ton of room over there.

  7. Yes, a massive one. I'll pay the tax increase. More cops too!

  8. Lots of over built hotels in the downtown area to convert to a jail.

  9. Maybe they could book Bartle Hall since it doesn't seem to be used much.

  10. The Tivoli Theater just became available too. Or maybe a fence around Arrowhead Stadium, then you could have all of the thugs in one place.

  11. I hear that the Zoo is looking for new exhibits.
