ACTIVIST CLAY CHASTAIN SEYZ HE STILL HAS 'FAIR SHOT' TO WIN BUT SHOULD HE USE DEROGATORY NICKNAMES AGAINST KANSAS CITY MAYORAL CONTENDERS?!?

The latest from Clay, partially depending on answers tonight, this might be the last time we include any press release from Clay Chastain using derogatory language against both Mayoral contenders.

Here's the word for context sent to news outlets across the metro . . . And the question to our blog community tonight . . .

SHOULD THE TKC BLOG COMMUNITY ALLOW CLAY CHASTAIN TO USE DEGRADING NICKNAMES AGAINST MAYORAL CANDIDATES IN HIS ONGOING CAMPAIGN?!?!?

They say all is fair in love, war and politics but we first want to offer a glimpse for context and then ask how we should move forward . . .

Checkit:

Write-in candidate Clay, who has a fair shot to win the general, will propose ordinance lowering development tax incentives (TIF), if elected mayor

Today, Clay begins his new grassroots general election campaign to push aside two lackluster candidates and speed ahead of them toward the general election finish line. With your help, he can pull off this titanic upset.

In winning the censored primary, Justus and Lucas (unadulterated status quo candidates) still only received the support of approximately 4% and 3% of all KCMO registered voters respectively. If write-in, conservative and maverick candidate Clay can inspire (with a more rigorous ground game) just 5% more voters to come to the polls and vote for him, Clay will win. Clay deserves to win because he is the only candidate that speaks truth to power, is for the people not developers and has specific ideas on how to fix Kansas City and launch it forward.

"Rollie Pollie Joile" (she rolls around with fat cat developers) and "Hocus Pocus Lucas" (he distracts us from sad facts with race rhetoric) are two typical attorneys who have never gotten their hands dirty, lack innovative solutions to the City's problems and will be no great departure from the mayor that spent the last 8-years messing up our City.

So today, Clay launches his historic mayoral write-in campaign with this piece of Clay-style leadership...

If elected mayor, Clay will introduce an ordinance lowering the development tax incentives (TIF) to 0%.

Concurrently, Clay will move to abolish the EDC and use that $10-15 million annual tax savings to initiate his anti-crime plan that includes hiring 100 new community police officers and initiating extensive check points in high crime area to take drugs, criminals (sought after and on the loose) and illegally owned firearms off Kansas City streets.

After 4 or more years of being on the City Council neither Jolie or Lucas did anything significant to try and stop the horrific violence in Kansas City. Rather, they were too busy being concerned about glitzy tax abated projects and changing the name of Paseo Blvd. to MLK.

It is not too late, to elect Clay mayor of Kansas City.

Still mayoral candidate, Clay Chastain

  1. Honestly would like to see how many write-in votes he could collect.

  2. To be honest over the years I have heard much worse. Clay slings mud in a different manner than most, but at the end of the day whose mud slinging will stick the worse is wh will win.

Lets be honest he isn't name calling any worse than is allowed in these posts day in and day out.

  3. Is Lucas going to allow himself to be beat up by an out of shape lesbian?

    That's the real story.

  7. Byron Funkhouser4/8/19, 9:11 PM

People already had a chance to vote for him & they chose not to. I think this is unethical. Name calling? If the President of the United States is allowed to call everyone, but Putin, names then how can you say he shouldn't call Justus & Lucas names?

It doesn't matter. He doesn't have a chance in hell of winning.

Other locales have passed sour grapes law, you should consider one, too.

I have no respect for this man.

  8. That's okay Byron. Nobody has respect for your lying thieving funky sheep fucking ass.

  9. Oh yes Byron th expert on Kansas City who is such a loser he will slander his own brother all because he is better than him.

  12. ^^^^ And maybe he should call @9:42 a limp dick coward. Let's see how well you do in an election. My guess is that you're too much of a roach to even try it.

  14. At one mayoral primary debate, Clay Chastain went over time every single time it was his turn, and he kept speaking when the microphone had turned off. Nearly every time the moderator told him that time is up, he seemed to have trouble hearing. "What??" No one else had this issue. And when he was asked what to do about the police department, he said he would add 100 new police officers. His response looked unplanned, like he pulled it out of a hat. Chastain's entire debate was embarrassing.

Name calling doesn't hurt anyone, but it is unprofessional. The mayor is the head of the city, and therefore its most important ambassador. Personally I would rather have someone with more class than Chastain—though I'm not happy with Justus who could likely bankrupt the city by continuing the infrastructure shopping spree and giving away tax abatements like she was Oprah. Lucas displays more humanistic qualities, though I'm on the fence due to the reasons stated above and others previously mentioned.

  15. Banning nicknames for candidates sounds like something The Star would do.

I've noticed this blog getting more sensitive and PC of late. That's a shame, as it used to be highly amusing.

  16. Kansas City is hopeless. Lucas or Justus? No thank You.

  18. Seriously, Clay, you only 342 votes when you were ON the ballot. At least if you were tilting at actual windmills, you could help prevent cancer.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Not sure what's happened to you Tony, but it appears you have sold out . Did City Hall or the Star pressure you or are you even writing the blog? It's just not the same the last few weeks.. Too bad but if your PC continues you're done. Everyday you post articles about conservative politicians with name calling and abusive language but now that somebody calls a couple snowflakes by their nicknames you go gaga???

  20. @9:50, I'm in agreement with TKC on this. The name calling is not something to do to demonstrate a serious candidacy. As this goes on, it seems more and more a vanity move than an actual attempt at an elected position. Chastain had tormented the City for years, then went silent for a while. This election he pops up and states some common sense measures that some of us like. What I don't like is Chastain being called a conservative. He might espouse some conservative measures, but my any standard measure, he is not. He received a minuscule number of votes, and won't have any better showing as a write-in. I will probably have to throw my vote away on SuperDave or Chuck. Chastain is doing everything he can to lose mine.

    ReplyDelete
  21. ^^^^^ I like that, what the hell......lets do a huge write in vote for SuperDave. I mean what the hell, it can't be any worse than what will happen. Be a riot to see just how many votes he could get. Then again it might be a real eye opener when someone who does not live in the city gets thousands of votes.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Chastain doesn't even live in KC. Even his own sister signed an affidavit saying that he hasn't lived at her house for years.
