TKC MUST READ!!! JACKSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR MEAN JEAN TOUTS CRIME FIGHTING PROGRESS IN ANNUAL REPORT!!!

Presser copy that we're handing over to our blog community in order to garner more perspective on the local crime fight. Also, what this report doesn't mention is the increased standing of the prosecutor politically as she moves up the ladder and takes a leadership role among Missouri Democrats.

Here are the local highlights . . .

Jackson County Prosecutor's Office: Annual Report

the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office improved the well-being of our community, addressing violent crime more effectively and initiating new innovative efforts to reduce crime. We also enhanced procedural fairness and strengthened our office’s bond with the community, especially with the survivors of crime who too long in the past suffered the consequences of crime with little or no support from the community.

Among many successes last year, our office:

- Filed 15.7% more criminal cases

- Established new Caring for Crime Survivors program

- Prosecutor Baker and new COMBAT team launched new approach

- Prosecuted ‘serial arsonist’ for fire that killed two firefighters

- Organized first “Gun Violence Summit” in Kansas City

- Sent felony cases to first Neighborhood Accountability Board

- Handled more than 8,000 child support cases

- Celebrated 150th graduating class of Drug Court

This past year netted tremendous successes and encouraging progress. New efforts in the past couple years led to meaningful collaborations with the community and with partners in the criminal justice system, much of it focused on new approaches to reducing violent crime. As we continue forward, we are aiming for a new public safety model that places a priority on our overall community’s health.

Thank you for taking an interest in the important work of the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office. We look ahead with the hope that we can even further improve public safety and benefit everyone in our community.

  1. There were fewer murders last year and I think everyone in local politics wants to emphasize that. Yes, there's a lot of work to do but I think the prosecutor's office is better off before than in year's past.

    1. Kansas City crime is moving to Overland Park.

  2. She’s kidding right? What difference has she made? Alls she’s done is let murderers off to continue killing, and whatever did she do to the racist black serial killer who snuffed out six white people?

She’s worthless period, a murderers best friend, especially if they’re black.

  3. Now, if we can just get the judges on board with keeping criminals in jail.

  4. ^^Umm...think that guy's still in jail so your whole narrative sorta falls apart there chief.

  5. What is the recidivism rate for drug court or “combat”?

  6. What about the hate crimes in South Kansas City. Has the murders the killed the people in Woodbridge and the Trails been sentenced?

  7. What???? Crime is higher this year than it was last year so far.

So I think the prosecutors's office just writes what they feel like writing or what they think everyone wants to hear. KC is more violent now than ever.

This is mind blowing and she stands there posing like she's some kind of hot thing. Claire McKaskill wannabe. IDIOT

  8. Jean Petersucker Baker is the weakest-dick prosecutor ever in the history of prosecutors.

  9. What is Petersucker going to say when murders are back to 150+ this year?

  10. 2nd 12:27 he hasn’t gone to court yet, how many years does it take? I think your whole narrative sorta falls apart there chief.

  11. Not much of a list, I noticed she didn’t put out any stats on how many murders she let free or gave probation to, by the way, what’s a “first Neighborhood Accountability Board”?

  12. 80% of people in Jackson County Jail are waiting trial. 10% faster prosecution would reduce jail population 8%. Wouldn't a few more lawyers be cheaper than a new $100,000,000 jail???

Oh this will solve City Halls Neglect Addiction

Members of the City Council’s Finance and Governance Committee on Wednesday voted unanimously in favor of a resolution authorizing City Manager Troy Schulte to come up with a transition plan before the city’s contract ends June 25. In an email, Schulte said the city would pursue building its own facility.

  14. Lock the doors on the fair weather toy train and the city would have their jail transport mechanism. If the city is going to build their own jail put it where the city minions wants a downtown stadium.
Even if the city built their own facility it would be like everything else and not maintained. Maybe they can work it in the airport boondoggle.

  15. LOCK YOUR DOORS, LOAD YOUR GUNS AND GET YOU A BARKING, BITING DOG. If the police can’t protect you, WHO WILL?”

  16. Sent felony cases to first Neighborhood Accountability Board - Center for conflict resolution.

“In criminal law, a felony is a category of crimes that are often classified as the most serious types of offenses, and they can be either violent or non-violent. Felonies are typically classified as mala in se crimes. ... Criminal fines may also be imposed for felony charges, often in the amounts of thousands of dollars.”

No wonder the murderers get off so easy, petersucker is referring them to “conflict resolution” she truly is the dumbest bitch on the face of the earth. Maybe that’s where the black racist mass murderer of 6 innocent whites went too.

  17. Jean Petersucker is really bad at her job. I wonder how much safer our city would be if we had a real prosecutor.
