TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! CLAY CHASTAIN DENOUNCES FAKE NEWS FAVORITISM!!! LIBERAL MEDIA LOCKING 'CONSERVATIVE' TRANSIT ACTIVIST OUT OF CAMPAIGN?!?!

Here's the latest from Kansas City's most prolific petitioner and his "Conservative" take on local campaign coverage . . .

Chastain Campaign Claim: Liberal, biased and unfair local news media trying to lock conservative Clay out of mayor's race

Most of Kansas City's local liberal media outlets are playing favorites and locking out engineer and conservative-oriented candidate Clay Chastain out of the mayor's race.

One of the most liberal mayoral candidates, Quinton Lucas, who is incessantly pounding the over done "Racial justice" theme, gets a recent sit down interview with Channel 9's Michael Mahoney. But not candidate Clay Chastain. Even though Clay's name is also on the ballot, he cannot get an interview with any of the other liberal-leaning media outlets either.

Clay understands he is a conservative-oriented candidate running for mayor in a liberal-oriented City. And, that his anti-establishment candidacy rankles Kansas City's elite status quo leaders, but where is the journalistic justice in this town? Clay cares about Kansas City too. And, if you prick him will he not bleed?

The local 4th estate apparently does not want the voters to know where Clay stands on the issues or what his ideas are to prosper the city. In other words, there is little journalistic justice in Kansas City, just liberal media outlets with a liberal agenda. Let's highlight the other offenders:

#1. The Kansas City Star: The cagey Star actually did ask to interview Clay, but when Clay has interviewed with the Star in the past they have written stories like, "Why won't he just leave us alone?" and from the Star's editorial board, "He can't win." Is it any wonder why Clay no longer trusts the Kansas City Star.

#2. The Pitch: "Over the past few weeks we've been speaking with KC Mayoral candidates about how they'd use the office to approach the biggest challenges facing the City." But to date, the Pitch has not contacted mayoral candidate Clay for an interview. That degenerate publication is a disgrace to respectable, fair and balanced journalism.

#3. KCUR Public Radio: Clay has sent KCUR all his press releases, but nary a word from this liberal-oriented public radio station and its biased producer Frank Morris and establishment-loving radio host Steve Kraske.

#4. The Call Newspaper and Eric Wesson. Yesterday, Eric sent out nasty garbage about Clay's anti-crime press release saying Clay was making "racially insensitive comments" and we don't want to "unleash more (community) police officers in the (Eastside) neighborhoods." This incomprehensible sentiment even though there are an abominable number of homicides taking place there that are terrorizing citizens, destroying families and dragging down the Kansas City community itself. Again, no offer from Eric to interview Clay.

#5. KCPT Public Television: Even the venerable Nick Haines told Clay the other day, "you don't make the cut," for being able to participate in the upcoming Ch. 19 mayoral debate on March 20. Nick, it's no wonder Clay is not showing very well in the polls to date, when the local news media refuse to even mention Clay's name or cover Clay's stance on the issues.

Fortunately, Channel 5 and channel 41 have contacted Clay for an interview. Look to those stations, and Tonyskansascity, if you want fair and balanced coverage of the mayor's race. At least they appear willing to give Clay a fair shot and let Clay communicate to voters why he is the best choice to fix our messed up City and return to the people "the City Beautiful."

Mayoral candidate, Clay Chastain.

  1. I understand the quotes around the conservative title. A lot of people would not consider clay's elaborate light rail campaigns very fiscally sound.

  2. Of course, having a lack of fiscal soundness puts Clay right in line with what's been going on in KCMO government for many decades.
And the usual consultants and "transit activists" will think sending hundreds of millions of tax dollars their way is a great idea.
    Momentum!

  10. Sure they ignore him, he isn't part of the local good ole boy clan. Caly makes people nervous and to be honest I bet is some ways scared, The fear is if he wins there for sure will be a new Sheriff in town and lets be frank here, a lot of players who want and abuse your tax dollars don't want that. Just more proof that the media is trying to control how you vote.

Off topic a bit. Last evening on the news an item about Satchel Paige ball park with serious structural damage from water erosion. Here's a useful and utilized facility in Kansas City's East Side, and the city is concerned about how much it will cost to repair the damage. Why not shitcan all the wasted bucks for MLK blvd and use that to help this needed structure. Won't happen. The fat revs see no profit for them. Shame. Wake up Eastland and vote these assholes out.

  14. The pork gobblers don't want Clay to sort out the boondoggles. If you want more debacles like the Rock Island fiasco, the missing Green Zone, the Airport travesty, the Smart City debacle just rubber stamp the fronts for the usual suspects gaming this city.

If you want tight government with fresh priorities, then Clay just might be the antidote to more Sly. If the developers and law firms are for it, then it is pretty much a screw to the actual citizens.

How folks even sweep these serial debacles under the rug, well that is on you Star.

  17. ^^^^^^^^Ahhhh but he has a legal residence here stupid. You're the one who needs to be locked out from voting, as you have proven to be too stupid to allow such.

    ReplyDelete
  18. ^^^^Ahhh but he does not reside here as the law mandates shit-for-brains. You're the one who has no clue and needs a lobotomy. Also you post like a retard..a la stupid dave, so whatever diarrhea runs out of your open cake-hole should be ignored like his is.

  19. It's hard not to ignore a guy no one cares about or takes seriously. I love how the dipshits up above ^^^ are now "Clay is great and can fix this mess" when about 10 years ago you were probably talking about what a fucking weirdo, tax and spend on dumb light rail guy he was.

  20. ^^^^^^^^Ahhhh but at least the other candidates don't weirdly talk about themselves in the third person.

  21. 1:49 he would't be on the ballet if he didn't pass the laws related to a legal residence. So how about you shutting your asshole of a month fucktard. Wish I knew where I could find you.
