SHOW-ME POLICE WEED CRACKDOWN ON MISSOURI STAGE 4 CANCER PATIENT!!!

Possibly the best evidence for marijuana law reform at the Federal level and a glimpse that drug-war defeat suffered by authorities when it comes to weed has inspired increased tension.

Bolivar police search cancer patient's bags for marijuana in viral video

A Facebook Live video posted late Wednesday night went viral this week after depicting three Bolivar police officers searching the bags of a Citizens Memorial Healthcare patient for marijuana. In the video, and in comments to the News-Leader, the patient and his family said Nolan Sousley is a stage 4 pancreatic cancer patient.

Yep, end of life shit is where I draw the line. Having watched two elderly kin die of cancer, one over a period of six months, one over for weeks; give em literally whatever the hell they want to give them peace, respite or a tiny bit of happiness. Caveat: as long as they aren't endangering others, and most of the time they aren't. This dude wasn't

What's funny, or sad I guess, geezer shit eating kid will be here soon. Depending on the political affiliation of the cancer patient is how he will support the drugs or rail against the guy, that's how pathetically weak his convictions are

^^^^ 10:26 nails it. This one is tough. I hope somebody just gives the police in this situation a moment of pause. Maybe not a disciplinary situation or any thing less than a good talk about the big picture. Cops do a lot of great things for the community and people use these stories to try to undermine them. From everybody, just some more understanding is needed.

Cancer is a nasty, horrible, painful disease, let the man have whatever it takes to die as comfortable as possible, I watched people die painfully from this horrible disease, it’s a terrible thing you can’t forget no matter how hard you try

Heavy handed to say the least. A little dignity for the guy would have been nice instead of being treated like a criminal during his last days.

Sometimes police should just look the other way.

There's a hospital security guard who should be out of a job and the City of Bolivar will probably write the man's estate a fat check before it's over.
