REFLECTION ON BLOODY KANSAS CITY METRO WEEKEND: WILL PRAYERS STOP THE RISING LOCAL VIOLENCE?!?!?

5 teens shot this weekend across the metro . . . One dead. And more two murders so far . . . The crimes crossed demographic and neighborhood lines and the tragic reality is that there isn't any KCMO mayoral candidate with a real plan to stop the crisis. And so, locals are calling out in prayer for a solution and hopefully to change the hearts of so many angry and dangerous locals. Read more:

Churches comes together to honor violence survivors

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - New Bethel Church in Kansas City, Kansas, remembered those lost to violence in the area and the ones impacted by those deaths Sunday during a special service. "I wanted to do something to recognize those survivors," New Bethel Lead Pastor A. Glenn Brady said.

No prayer won't stop the violence but a new taxpayer subsidized downtown hotel and luxury apartments will.

There is power in prayer if you’re not praying for your own self seeking interests, but praying only for knowledge of God’s will for us and the power to carry that out.
