Kansas City photographer sues real estate company over use of 'Plaza Lights' picture

KANSAS CITY - A Kansas City photographer who took a famous "Plaza Lights" photo is suing a real estate firm alleging it used the picture without permission. Eric Bowers filed a lawsuit at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri on Feb.

  3. Just yesterday I had to contact an entity about using one of my photos without permission. They used it on a invitation for a lecture and then sent me one. It was settled amicably.
