Fire temporarily closes Jack Stack location on Plaza

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Hungry for Jack Stack Barbecue tonight as a source of comfort before another battle with Snowpocaplyse 2019? You'll have to go somewhere other than the Country Club Plaza. 3. Are we sure it wasn’t a health department violation that caused the shut down? No fire pictures or any source other than the restaurants own announcement or release. Often times a food establishment can claim a “renovation” or the like to explain a temporary voluntary shutdown to rectify a noncompliance instead of an involuntary closing by the health dep’t ...

    just sayin

and FWIW my restaurant week dinner at jack stack in freight House was underwhelming.

I will stick with rosedale bbq. More affordable too.

  4. Jack Stack is overpriced. Traveling for work I discovered Guy & Mae's Tavern in Williamsburg Kansas. The ribs are great. The local soy boys, gays, hipsters and for the most part people of KCMO metro area would not patronize this place. Sometimes if one wants real meat they have to get out of town.
