  1. Build it in the caves. Plenty of empty spaces, low utilities, walls completed, security a breeze, and out of sight.

  2. I can imagine the incredible level of quality and transparency from Frank White and Darryl Forte.

    Here's the opening page:

  3. What’s gonna happen with the old one? Will kc buy it for their own prisoners? Don’t be shocked if they do

  4. Turn the old one into a home for homeless people.

  5. The reason why this jail is obsolete is they want to jail more poor and working people now that they have the surveillance technology.

  6. @ 8:49 What a true shithole Jackass County has become. The collective shrug of the County Legislators at their last meeting after finding out about Frank White redacting about half of a consultant's report on the jail is despicable. They spend a quarter of million on consultants only to have Frank White ignore them or try and hide the results, and they got nothing to say about it?

  7. The jail we have now seemingly can['t be managed... so, let's build a new one.

  8. The county can build a new jail in the location some people want a downtown baseball stadium. If the county partnered with the city they could probably slip the jail in the airport scam and have Edgemoor build it.

  9. The downtown location is somewhat needed because it's right by the courthouses and there are underground tunnels from the jail leading to all the courthouses so inmates aren't transported outside
