TKC SATURDAY NIGHT PLAYLIST!!! WINTER 2019 EXPOSED KANSAS CITY SCREWED UP TOURISM & DEVELOPER PRIORITIES!!!

The residents of this cowtown are tired of Winter weather and the hardship that it has wreaked upon local streets.

Potholes, water main breaks and car crashes present a clear and present danger to KCMO denizens who risk mortal danger simply by driving around local streets.

City Hall has been hit hard with public complaints about the conditions of roads this Winter. The budget for street repair has been increased by 70% but we all know that those funds are ALWAYS shifted throughout the year.

However, no matter the partisan stance of KCMO residents . . . Whether this Winter represents "extreme climate change" OR just a return to normal harsh Midwest snowstorms. The FACT is that Kansas City did a horrible job maintaining streets over the past few weeks and this hits home with voters as elections approach and candidates don't really have a solution for boring issues like deferred maintenance but would rather talk about social justice, social engineering or party planning in local entertainment districts.

And so the cycle repeats as streets literally crumble from so many empty City Hall promises.

And all of this has inspired our playlist tonight.

As always, thanks for reading this week and have a safe and fun Saturday night/Sunday morning.

  1. KCMO has, for years, failed to provide basic services but they have not failed in padding the developers back pockets.

  3. ^^^^Oh, I don't know. Give-it-away Kay would be a close contender as would Funk who wasn't smart enough to keep his wife away from city hall.

  4. I'll bet no one would have thought they wanted the Funk back. He was bad but Sly is the DEVIL!

  6. Once again, 25-million visitors a year requires 65,000 folks per day. And that's every day in February too.... logic says this is absurd.
