ReplyDeleteI agree with the trucker and here is my proposal to drivers licenses. Make everybody that wants a drivers license spend two days in the cab of a truck with a professional driver. You'd be scared Sh**less in the first hour. First you'd realize that most truckers drive very defensively. The bigger the company the better the driver. Second you'd see that 35 - 55% of automobile drivers are distracted by their cell phone that they never put down. Women are the worst for this, black males second worst. Third most auto drivers do not allow enough room around a Semi for safe merging, lane changes and stopping. A very high percentage of auto drivers cut in on a truck without signaling their intentions, most only allow one or two blinks of the signal when they do use them. Ya got 'em, use 'em!
