'It made my career to come to Atlanta,' former Chiefs tight end Gonzalez says

ATLANTA (KCTV) -- Newly elected NFL Hall of Fame tight-end Tony Gonzalez spent a majority of his 17-year career with the Kansas City Chiefs. Gonzalez finished his career with 1,325 catches and over 15,000 yards. Comments he made Saturday night following his announced induction into the NFL Hall of Fame have ruffled some Chiefs' fans feathers.

  1. RAMS FIXED TO WIN SUPERBOWL

The NFL is like professional wrestling, but they wear traditional uniforms and provide a better illusion of reality. The teams are owned by billionaires who cooperate with the federal government to keep the public distracted while vacuuming their pockets and promoting the desired agenda.

The Rams have been pre-selected to win, in part, because they're the first team to promote gay black men performing as cheerleaders. It dovetails quite nicely with the ongoing broader social agenda of masculine toxicity and promotion of identity politics.

  2. Yes, the rams have gay black men as cheerleaders. It’s the SJW checklist of the NFL now.

As for Tony G I don’t blame him for his excitement in Atlanta. The Chiefs are not a championship organization. All the hype, and all the history films of the Chiefs super bowl and being in Texas will never make them what they want you to think. Seriously the 1960s chiefs championship footage is getting old as if it were superbow footage from the 2000s.

Look at these other teams and their legacy. I’m not even talking about the patriots. Teams like the Steelers, cowboys, and broncos. Those are winning organizations.

  3. He has to say nice things about both places because he’s still making money off of merchandise, he doesn’t really care about kc because as a hole the team sucked and with Atlanta, well, it’s Atlanta people, not shit hole killa shitty. This town was and is better off being a nobody town.

  4. Oh look! Some sports guy slighted Kansas City. As relevant as if model Cara Delevingne had something bad about KC. Who really cares? Find something else to worry about.

  9. That's the thing about praising/worshipping athletes the way they do. It's called 'idol worship'. There's a reason for the Bible's clear stance against it... it only comes back to bite the person doing it on the a**!

  10. I've been sick and NEEDED a doctor.
I've encountered trouble and NEEDED a police officer.
I've lived through times of war, when our nation NEEDED our military.
I have even NEEDED an auto mechanic, a plumber, a house painter and a lot of other every day people.

But I have NEVER, not even once, NEEDED a pro athlete or Hollywood entertainer for ANYTHING.

  13. Tony had better stats in KC than for the falcons. He was always in the play calling. Granted he was a younger player with the chiefs. Someone correct me it I'm wrong but I think he got more passes and yards in our offense per season than at Atlanta.
