Not Even Gordon Ramsay Can Save The Embattled Kansas City 18th & Vine District

We didn't get a chance to watch the first broadcast but the Internets clips of a world famous chef on 18th & Vine were worth a look at offer something to consider for the late night.

Here's the restaurant transformation overview:

The chef in a horrible disguise . . .

The employees at the Bayou On The Vine get into an argument and Gordon asks the guest to stop eating their meals.

Sadly, around the time of this restaurant revival there was a double shooting and another murder in this district that has cost KCMO more than $100-MILLION since the 90s.

And so . . .

Gordon Ramsey has moved on to the next kitchen but Kansas City is still picking up the tab for this district that still struggles and desperately needs taxpayer support.

Hopefully, more for the morning update . . . STAY TUNED!!!

  1. Actually, this was one of his better shows. He did a remarkable job and the best part about it is that restaurant used to be a pretty good "pepsi" joint back in the day.

  2. Murder in Kansas City is just the background music to set the dining mood.
