Burglary victim says he's being intimidated for calling Kansas City police

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After 34 years, a KC homeowner says he's afraid to live in his own house after burglars recently ransacked it. It's an example of why victims sometimes are unwilling to report crime. George Ringer recently traveled out of state to attend his brother's funeral.

  4. I had someone intimidate me and tried to make up stupid lies to blackmail me. Spoke to my attorney. Then I went to the Overland Park Police and the nice female office with a tattoo on her arm took my full report and attorney's statements (her had heard the intimidation in person). Police did nothing. Not even a return call. Send them letters certified, NO reply. So I printed off the jerk's lengthy public criminal records and sent it by mail to his employers (anounomously). Then I sent it to all his neighbors. Then started sending it to his relatives too. Plus I bought a shockwave 12 gauge shotgun, its loaded with 00 and slugs, so when he comes around I will teach him a lesson. All his intimidation is documented over a number of years, so what jury will balme me for what happens. Graveyards are filled with people who died trying to intimidate innocent people!

  5. Somehow I suspect that this is less him being intimidated and more the fact he's just now realizing the hard way his working class blue collar neighborhood has gone "Gran Torino" on him.
