Victim describes fear after violent assault, robbery

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A violent assault and robbery along East Missouri Avenue on Thursday morning left a victim injured and now fearful to be outside. The crime occurred around 6 a.m. on Thursday. The victim asked 41 Action News not to reveal her name or face due to the fear she continues to feel over the incident.

  3. Most of this type of news never makes it to the public. A person I know was attacked and robbed in Westport and was slugged so hard it ripped the skin off one side of his jaw. His face is a mess still and will be for the rest of his life. KCPD was like, oh well this happens acting like it was no big deal.

  5. The location is right in the middle of a buncn of housing projects. Maybe she didn't appreciate the danger of walking in that area, but she does now.
