We love our late night readers the most and tonight we share the GOLD STANDARD of local political discourse as they debate even more upcoming elections and the current Border Wall slap fight.
Here's the description:
"Mike Shanin talks to UMKC political science professor Elizabeth Vonnahme about incivility and coarseness in political discourse. Mary O'Halloran, Crosby Kemper III, Terry Riley and Laura McConwell discuss the key issues for candidates in the Kansas City mayoral primary, the potential list of candidates to fill Pat Roberts' Kansas Senate seat in 2020 & the impact of the government shutdown."
Take a look:
You decide . . .
They couldn't be more wrong about the Mayor's race. Except for Shanin, these are the same folks who made all the wrong predictions leading up to this.
ReplyDeleteNotice Crosby kept somewhat quiet about the mayor's election. Probably doesn't want to donate any money.
DeleteKansas City Mayor's Race 2019 = EVERYBODY LOSES!
Delete^^^ Absolutely wrong. JoCo wins!
ReplyDeletePeople who want to work for a living, enjoy a safe community and work with their neighbors to keep the standard of living high have the upper hands. Too bad that KC has so few of them. The antics of City Hall is just a symptom of the problem that goes far deeper. Corruption is what really has taken hold of the city and there doesn't seem to be any reformer with a decent shot at winning.
A wheel is better than a wall.
ReplyDeleteAnd we need a real mayor.
The best person to be mayor was sitting at the table. Crosby are you listening/???
