Just a captivating as any discussion of our local political discourse, KCPT talker Nick Haines shares a peek at his new hairdo in honor of Patrick Mahomes.
And then, the description of his latest show . . .
Nick Haines, Cat Reid, Dave Helling, Steven Dial and Brian Ellison discuss the reaction and response to the recent storm damage and power outages, Governors Laura Kelly and Mike Parson delivering their first State of the State addresses, problems in the Hickman Mills and Blue Valley School Districts, marijuana business applications, new roles for Claire McCaskill and Kevin Yoder and Chiefs fever.

ReplyDeleteYou know there is something about liberals all you have to do is look at them and they scream Liberal. Something about their faces. It's so much fun to drive down the street and pick these people out!
I didn't realize that Lyle Lovett was in town.
ReplyDeleteHe is.
ReplyDelete"As a native Texan, Lyle Lovett is no fool when it comes to football. The famed and eclectic singer/songwriter may have loyal fans, but he also knows when not to test that loyalty.
That time would not be at 5:40 p.m. Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs are set to do battle against the New England Patriots for the AFC Championship at Arrowhead Stadium.
As such, the Lovett concert with the Kansas City Symphony — originally scheduled for 7 p.m. Sunday at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts — has been rescheduled for 2 p.m"

"I'm from Atlanta...Martin Luther King and all that jazz."
ReplyDelete--Steven Dial
Good catch, @12:18 - hasn't anyone clued Steven in to the fact that "Jazz" ONLY existed in Kansas City, and even then only at 18th & Vine.
ReplyDeleteEverything else claiming to be "Jazz" (New Orleans, New York, Paris, etc.) is just racist appropriation of a purely Kansas City property.
