  2. Developers already have the money and now city hall is trying to scrape funds together to install the guard rail.

City hall's new policy on spending is nowhere but downtown area.

  3. Ya we shouldn’t hold people accountable for dangerous driving and causing the wreck. It is a tragedy but it is the drivers fault not the cities!

  4. ^^^^^^^^^^ Wrong. There were plenty of warnings about this. We need to also hold the city accountable.

  5. How about some fucking sidewalks like the rest of the city?

  7. Sorry folks! Need that money for cost of renaming Paseo to MLK and extending the free ride toy train.

  8. @7:09, the Neighborhood Associations have been asking for (and have been promised) a guardrail at that location for thirty years.

It's shameful that it has taken a child's death to even get the idea before the public, but, as with so many other things, "screw us, we're up North"!

We have no advocates, they have been stamped out by the City Hall hand puppets at "Northland Neighborhoods, Inc." so it will take at least seven or eight more deaths at this location to get anything done, since there are far more important things like Art Festivals to be funded south of the River.
