KANSAS CITY CHIEFS CHOKE AND SUFFER EPIC 28-29 DEFEAT TO CHARGERS!!!

Because sports talkers will offer nothing but excuses and saccharine pleasantries, we wanted to start the day with the main local topic of discussion imposed by every office bully if only because our blog community will likely contradict typical fanboy talking points.

To wit . . .

THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS CHOKED & THREATENS TO START THE TYPICAL LATE SEASON IMPLOSION!!!

Just a bit of backup proof . . .

- The secret is out, QB Patrick Mahomes isn't so magical under pressure. Yes he has the ability to make amazing plays but he's not (yet) a miracle worker against a solid defense. Last night he was "unspectacular" according to most.

- Kansas City needs a good running back. The Kareem Hunt controversy might have been the beginning of the end for this season despite a few surprising performances from backup players.

- The defense is good but not great. Reality: In less promising seasons, the team has put forward a more fearsome squad and last night they were picked apart when it counted.

More than anything . . .

MANY OF OUR TKC DENIZENS BELIEVE THIS CRITICAL GAME FORESHADOWS "ONE AND DONE" IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!

Kansas City Defeated

Chargers top Chiefs at Arrowhead on game-ending 2-point conversion

The Kansas City Chiefs had all the momentum. Not only were the Chiefs at home at Arrowhead Stadium against the visiting L.A. Chargers, but they were inducting a legend into their Ring of Honor in record-setting tight end Tony Gonzalez.

Early Lead Fizzles

Chargers beat Chiefs 29-28 on last-second touchdown

The Kansas City Chiefs jumped out to an early lead thanks to big plays from their defense and led by as many as 14 points, but ultimately couldn't contain the Los Angeles Chargers offense in the fourth quarter, losing the game 29-28 on a touchdown pass and two point conversion with just eight seconds left in the game.

Last Minute Extra

Philip Rivers offers two amazing details about Chargers' stunning two-pointer to beat Chiefs

The Chargers pulled off one of the most dramatic wins of the NFL season on Thursday and they did it by making a gutsy call with four seconds left in the game. After Los Angeles scored a touchdown to cut the lead to 28-27, the Chargers could have kicked the extra point to go to overtime, but instead, they decided to go for the win.

Comeback Disappointment

Chiefs' Berry misses 2nd half, says it was planned

New Playoff Power???

Don't Look Now, But Rivers-Led Chargers are AFC's Most Dangerous Team

Ever since the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1, the Chargers have been looking up at the Chiefs in the AFC West. Even after the Bolts peeled off nine wins in 10 games following a 1-2 start, Kansas City's victories overshadowed L.A.'s success.

End Game Truism

Chiefs might not have supporting cast capable of winning title with Patrick Mahomes

Dan Marino is football royalty. Almost any quarterback would be flattered to be mentioned in the same breath as the legendary Hall of Famer. But in Patrick Mahomes' case, such a comparison could be a cautionary tale.

  1. An amazing game but probably the beginning of the end. It was a fun ride. I didn't see a no look pass but what I did notice was a lot of broken hearts. Sorry.

    1. What about beaten wives? It's a Kansas City tradition to go and blast the lady after a loss.

      Or a win.

    2. I was waiting for it and now here it is. Losers on a political blog think they know anything about football. Yes, defense has had trouble but the point that TKC keeps missing is that this is the best team KC has seen in years and years. Better to hope for the best then laugh and make fun of people after losing. That's just not good sportsmanship and doesn't represent KC. I think some of the smarter readers realize that.

    Two and out.

    Tops.

    1. And Friday productivity takes a hit because people want to parrot all of the garbage that the jocks were talking last night. Meanwhile, watch most of the women at offices do the majority of the work. Usually how it goes most of the time, today it'll just be more obvious.

  3. Wait till the Chiefs face a very good defense like the 49er's or the Cardinals.

Please bookmark this post when the Chiefs win the Super Bowl.

Seriously, it'll be funny and should give a great look at the readership of this blog and how they are far too negative.

  6. ^^^ Yeah, chiefs win the superbowl but the now are not even the best team in the AFC west.

    Unlikely.

  7. 6:05 wrong, this is not the best team in years, this is the best qaurterback in decades, this young man is carrying this team on his back. Defense wins championships and we don’t have one, or much of one. Our seasons trouble began when when lost the racist white girl beater and with the injuries piling up we are done. Cue the standard sports line: we’ll get’em next year!

    I hope I’m wrong but.........

  8. I like the Chiefs. But that last link says it all. It'll take more than just a good quarterback.

  9. Hahahahahahahahaha. Chiefs suck.

  16. OMG the worlds ending because of last night horrific defeat and i need to work today at this stupid ass job and i need a beer and ..

  17. Relax. Were gonna tear down a church and put a shiny new box up and get the new airport going with it's cutting edge look

  18. Downhill from here. Chiefs won't recover. Geezer fans will hit the bottle harder than usual in Jan and Feb as a result of one playoff loss and out. Geezers will be forced back to real life, many will kill themselves, and the world will be a little better for it.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The Chiefs have a really stupid doddering old man as a defensive coordinator. Their linebackers and defensive backs have no skill and are afraid to tackle. They are cunthole illiterate negroes. Their offensive linemen are slow fat slobs who get holding penalties and can’t block.

    ReplyDelete
  20. 49 year of consecutive disappointment. Been telling you that for 6 months. Season ticket holders are suckers.

    ReplyDelete
  21. That's the bad part of having a team that just doesn't have what it takes to bring home the bacon winning a bunch of games. Reality is going to start taking place and the ability of the team to finish the season a winner all of a sudden is nothing but a dream again for the fans.

    ReplyDelete
  22. To the above commentors saying our defense isn't all that bad, who have you been watching? The defense is terrible, lack of fundamentals in tackling, nothing in the secondary, and a poor coordinator to top it off. On the offensive side, the loss of Hunt was a big blow. When you can keep defenses guessing on run or pass, you have more opportunities. With minimal running threat, D's are just holding back for passes which is hurting Mahomes ability to do work. The refs were making calls that NY directed them to, terrible, but don't use that as a crutch.

They're fun to watch to the extent that I watch people I wouldn't normally associate with in real life. But as for this season, like most everyone said in the beginning, one and done.

^^^^^Might be more truth to that than most would care to admit.

  28. ^^Or, get this...that statement and your idiotic response is such complete and utter bullshit it had to be written by a retarded geezer. Yea....that's it.

  29. ^^Look the idiot is back

  30. Fun fact, geezer boy is in his 50s.

On the topic of the Chiefs.

OF COURSE they were going to implode, what did you expect? They haven't ever been a good team. Just good enough to keep tricking the suckers from Johnson County and reaping the profits.

It's a good business, keeps Clark Hunt pissing in a nicer pot than any of you losers will ever see.

  31. Choked like Kim Kartrashian on a black cock.

  32. All the stuff about defense is mostly correct, but I gotta wonder how many people on this blog also said the Royals never stood a chance, or that the first Series visit was a fluke :-) The same kind of people that say things like "...was a hot summer...means we gonna have a horrible winter!"

    ReplyDelete
  33. ^^Never forget this blog is full of hateful geriatrics that look for shit to complain about. All day. If you really didn't care for football, or it's fans, or everything about the NFL, would really seek out a blog post to tell everyone how much you hate it? Such is the mind of a bitter, broken, busted geriatric.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Before the season any Chiefs fan would have been thrilled to be 11-3.

  35. 1:04 nobody put his two cents in everybody! Hip hip hooray!

I’m 25 and agree with almost all these comments, except yours. I know you are a moron, everybody knows you’re a moron, nobody in their right mind thinks or says the stupid crap you do.

  36. CCCCCCChoke!!!!!! Choking on Rivers white boi Charger meat and Reid bent over taking it DEEEEEEEPPPPP!!!!! Typical Chiefs.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I say it is time for Clark boi to move the team to Oakland. They are use to disappointment, it apparently takes KC fans longer to choke down 49 years of it.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Too much emphasis on one player, Mahomes. The rest of the league has the game plans figured out now. Go PATS!
