Confirmation: Kansas City Chiefs Were Correct To Dump Marcus Peters

Among the more progressive fans of Kansas City football, there was a debate about free speech and worker rights when the Chiefs punted Marcus Peters to the L.A. Rams following a great deal of local fan outraged over his national anthem protests . . .

Now, his latest controversy offers a glimpse at the former Chiefs footballer engaged in a rough exchange that's earning rebuke throughout the league.

Local take from a sports talker we admire:

"We have to start giving the Chiefs front office the benefit of the doubt. Clearly, they were ALSO right about Peters."

Description of the incident . . .

"L.A. Rams cornerback Marcus Peters got so pissed off at a heckler in the crowd during Sunday night's game against the Eagles ... he went into the stands and cussed the guy out."

  1. He was right, the fan sounded like a scumbag.

  2. I can't stand Peters. He's toxic and anti-American. That said (and listen close millennials this is the difference between conservative and liberal) drunk d-bags in the stands shouldn't be allowed to verbally (or physically) assault those they disagree with. Peters was given his walking papers to a City and team that embraced his ideology, leave him be and good luck to him.

  6. ^^^ Lulz.

I have to say, he should have just let security deal with the guy. No use getting in trouble over just another heckler.

  7. Guy who loves to talk trash to players is my favorite kind of fan. I'd love to see one of these dudes get pummeled sometime.
