For now the flurries are gone and arctic cold is replacing the minor snowfall this evening . . . Accordingly, the local news rounds up today's injuries which included 88 crashes, 10 injuries and two fatalities. Check the roundup:
Light snow causes several accidents, 2 deaths in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, MO (AP) - A light but persistent snow caused two deaths and numerous accidents in Kansas City, and caused several school closings in mid-Missouri. The Missouri Highway Patrol reported at noon Monday that it has responded to 86 crashes, including two deaths and 10 injuries.
Uh, 49 and 291 is not Kansas City. That's Harrisonville. Those rednecks always have accidents out there.
