ReplyDeleteThis is just "deja vu", since the same thing happened at UMKC several years ago, when a Dean of the School of Biosciences got carried away by arrogance and almost cost the Medical School its licensure. He too brought in large amounts of Grants, and he too was untouchable.

Foreign students should be made aware of the rules of conduct when they apply to study under a prestigious professor. They are there to kiss ass, cut grass, and pass the class. Current students should tell the newbies how things work so there are no surprises.
