(AP) - President Donald Trump might have lost ground with suburban voters during the midterm elections, but rural voters in Missouri more than made up for it by strongly supporting Trump-backed Republican Josh Hawley, who ousted self-described moderate Democrat Sen. Claire McCaskill on Tuesday.

Missouri Democratic Party: Destroyed???
Missouri Republicans maintain a SUPER MAJORITY throughout the State despite the fact that the two most populous cities are both Democratic controlled and towns like Columbia, Springfield & Joplin actually have quite active cultural scenes and aren't as "rural" as most would like to think . . . Here's old school thinking that fails to understand widespread discontent with candidates and the politics of the Democratic Party . . .
