For those getting ready for the week overnight, just a quick bit of practical news . . .
"City Hall will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12 to observe the #VeteransDay holiday. Trash and recycling collection will move to the holiday schedule. Pickup will be one day later than usual for residents."
Of course, all this is retaliative for some Brookside residents and neighbors on the out reaches of town who have always had problems getting trash picked up thanks to so many foibles related to City Hall vs. private contractors.

The mayor, city manager and clowncil are only there for free lunch on thursdays anyway so...........
