The long awaited day of Courthouse reckoning is at hand as state officials will FINALLY investigate some of the shady practices related to so much cash shifted around clandestinely. Here's a nice preview:

It’s about time!!
ReplyDeleteIt must have taken that long to find auditors willing to be locked up with the dregs of society to audit conditions.
ReplyDeleteYou would think City Hall would be first up for audit.
ReplyDeleteJackson County taxpayers will pay the bill for the audit.
ReplyDeleteLOL okay
ReplyDeleteThis is a good start, lets just hope Galloway will be honest and thorough about it.
If you see any columns of smoke rising out of the Jackson County Courthouse, you can be sure it's not because they've just elected a new pope.
ReplyDeleteHope those shredders have been well-maintained!
So far, I'm glad I voted for 1 Democrat (Galloway).
ReplyDeleteGo get 'em Nicole!
I'm not holding my breath on this one. Frank White would look good in orange though.

ReplyDelete"the Jackson County legislature requested the county-wide audit in January"
We hear a lot about the KC council members. Who are the county legislators?
I'm interested to see what the state's new attorney general does with the info the Jackson County Prosecutor turned over this summer about Frank White. Between the state and the feds investigating him for everything from perjury to bribery to misappropriating funds I doubt Frank makes it three months into his new term before he is indicted.
ReplyDeleteEvery time you swerve a pothole in Jackson County just thank the ridiculous Combat tax sucking twenty million out of the local economy every single year for the past thirty years. Think of that 600 million dollars wasted when contemplating pressing needs like a bridge over the missouri river. End that boondoggle it is nothing more than a giant cookie jar for already generously funded law enforcement and prosecutor bureaucrats and politically connected community development groups.
