WEEKEND KANSAS CITY POLITICAL WEED RALLY UP IN SMOKE!!! IS THIS A SNEAK PEEK AT THE BLUE WAVE?!?!

Don't get it twisted . . . We know that pro-marijuana voters can move the dial with exceptional efficiency that often surprises the electorate.

However, their most successful efforts are, pardon the clumsy pun . . . Grassroots.

Three Missouri medical marijuana initiatives are a big part of a progressive push in Missouri.

Check this important story of a BRAVE AND INJURED LOCAL LADY VETERAN advocating for better access to alternative medicinal weed therapy . . .

KMBC: Rally, concert held to support Amdendment 2

Again, the story of a solider working to improve local healthcare is inspiring but buried in the coverage is a quick peek at a paltry crowd for this event that was promoted widely on social media and among Democratic Party KCMO insiders.

Council dude Scott Taylor, MO State Sen. Jason Holsman and Congressman Cleaver were scheduled to speak.

And so we ask . . .

Were locals scared away by public weed advocacy OR is this a sign that politics isn't creating the kind of EPIC buzz expected in this KCMO Democratic Party stronghold???

You decide . . .

  2. If the weed bill is passed by the Missouri voters then I’m moving across the river to parkville. I’ve always liked Riss Lake anyway.

  3. Just what KCMO needs a stoned populace staggering around saying "wut up" and "hey man got any weed"?

  4. 2:32 we are there already. Nothing will really change except a few smoke shops popping up and making tax revenue.

Quinton Lucas will be able to stay home and party. No more going to Lawrence to try and hide. You can tell from his booking photos he was stoned big time.

  9. It's due to the fact nationwide legalization is around the corner. People have better things to do than promote really dumb amendments over a flowering plant. Legalize marijuana, tax it and admit prohibition of a weed was a really bad idea.

  10. Alcohol is so much worse for society. The DUI deaths, the fighting, blackouts, wife beating, etc.

It so strange to see someone who gets drunk a lot try to make fun of someone who smoked marijuana. Its such hypocrisy.

  11. Before we legalize recreational marijuana, which I would support, we need to find a way to test drivers for driving under the influence of weed, as well as laws that define the offense.

    1. I am a big time live-and-let-live guy, but I have noticed a lot of litter left behind by people who park their cars and smoke weed near my house. A good times or swished foil blunt 2-pack wrapper always littered. And a beer bottle (broken often) soda can, condom, fast food litter, etc. A certain segment of weed smokers are undeniably low class litterbugs.

  13. Catch up Missouri....you're missing out on some serious tax revenue. If you work in a non-drug test environment, I can assure, a good chunk of your co-workers are smoking dope/eating edibles from time to time.

  14. Isn't Riss lake still in Missouri?

  15. Yeah riss lake is in Missouri I never said it was is kansas.

  16. This isn’t the Second Amendment that keeps us free and safe. This one makes rouge doctors frauds and productive citizens losers.
