TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! CONGRESSMAN YODER TOUTS SUPPORT FROM CROWD OF HIGH-RANKING KANSAS LEADERS!!!

Today's update from Team Yoder offers an important point of contention specific to TKC . . . And a look at why the discussion bextwixt our blog community and columnist Steve Rose is important.

Summary . . .

In writing, our GOP readers questioned the Republican credentials of Steve Rose

Mr. Rose fired back with a tribute to his moderate credentials over the week.

His money line:

"I can say unequivocally that I am a Republican cut from the same cloth as Bill Graves, a moderate Republican who served as Kansas governor for two terms, 1995-2003 . . "

And just now . . .

IN A KANSAS REPUBLICAN STAMPEDE, CONGRESSMAN YODER TOUTS SUPPORT OF FORMER KANSAS GUV BILL GRAVES AND MANY, MANY MORE!!!

And so, the argument that Fmr. Kansas Guv Bill Graves is a benchmark for "moderate" opposition against Congressman Yoder has been effectively rebuffed.

This is important for a lot of reasons and, in no small part, because OUR AWESOME TKC BLOGGY DISCOURSE that challenges local talking points and doesn't just accept the "news" or op/ed debate at face value is driving the discourse that will have an impact on the future of American Democracy in a highly contested election.

  1. Graves might be a big deal but I'm more impressed that he's also talking to neighborhood leaders.

That's important because I just see Sharice talking to Janelle Monae.

  3. His opponent has support from extreme left-wingers who don't live in Kansas and have never been to Kansas.

  4. Didn't the Head of Animal Control in Salina also endorse Yoder?
Why isn't his name on the list?
What about the Mayor of Lincoln?

  5. I don't see Super Dave's name on that list and he hates all queers no matter what gender. He hates everyone but white people just ask him so.

  6. I didn't see "former teacher" Justin Adrian on the list.
Oh! That's right. He would be for the rug-muncher.

  7. I'm not on the list and frankly could care less that I am not. Just because Steve Rose can't remain neutral or quiet doesn't mean I can't about my political choices. I and only I know who I vote for when I step into that voting booth.

I will say I as a rule don't like any of them running for office for one reason or another. Been many a year since I have seen someone who ran for office that had a clear agenda in mind and not a bunch of special interests items. But they were just too damn down to earth and honest to have ever been elected. Honesty is a no no in the political arena.

  13. All the local pigs at the trough want the big spending gravy train Yoder drives to continue.

    The Swamp lives. For now.

Drain it and the skinny dipper that swims in it.
