Honestly, this doesn't seem very harsh for the murder of a law enforcement member. The shooting was in a crowd and sparked weeks of debate in the party district. Here's the aftermath:
A Kansas City Man Gets 18 Years For Shooting, Killing A Lee's Summit Police Officer
A Kansas City man pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder for shooting and killing off-duty Lee's Summit police officer Thomas Orr last year in Westport. Sean D. Steward, 23, now faces 18 years in prison, including three years for unlawful possession of a firearm.
I’m shocked! Mean jean actually put some one in jail for murdering a white police officer, wait, what? He was a black officer? No wonder the guy got 18 yrs, if it was a white officer she would have let him go free.
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to the life sentence for murder anyway? Or is that a relic of the past now days.
ReplyDeleteWhat a chuckenshit sentence. Should have been 25 to life.
ReplyDeleteWith good behavior and poor black guy points he will be out in 5 years.
ReplyDeleteThis sentence is a total disgrace.
ReplyDeletePretty long sentence for Jean Petersucker Baker. Jean Petersucker Baker is the weakest prosecutor ever.
ReplyDeleteKilla City wins again.

ReplyDelete18 years, are you serious?? Black killers just don't get in trouble for anything do they. This guy should be put to death.
I can't believe this shit!
Guards are torturing prisoners in SCCC in Licking Missouri.
ReplyDeleteSo he is out in 8+- years. Nice job Jean.
ReplyDeleteHe's a school cop he had no business drinking at a bar
ReplyDeleteShould have been a life sentence. People continue to kill partly because (in Jackson County) their punishment is in essence a slap on the wrist. We'll see if this murdering thug serves the entire sentence. I'm betting he won't.
