Investigators say the officer was driving near 23rd and Van Brunt early Sunday morning when another car T-boned the officer's cruiser. The cruiser then flipped over. Two women involved in the crash were checked out for injuries but should recover.

Kansas City's biggest adoption event is back. The KC Mega Match started on Friday. KC Pet Project and Great Plains SPCA locations, along with Wayside Waifs and the Lawrence Humane Society will be open from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, they'll be open for adoptions from noon until 6 p.m.

ReplyDeleteTook my kid to see Ed Sheeran a few years ago at Sprint Center. Was like half full with the top section blocked out. I thought he was nuts for scheduling a date at Arrowhead. I'm amazed he pulled in over 50k. Can only imagine what the margins are for him on his shows because they're pretty bare bones.
