KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A dog owner is mourning the deaths of at least six puppies after a fire Saturday at his home. Thick smoke was rolling from the house about 3:15 p.m. when the first firefighters arrived at 7234 Bales Ave. The homeowner was alone at the house and managed to escape uninjured.

Communities mourn after church van crash kills three teens

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Several church communities are gathering to mourn this morning after three teenagers will killed in a rollover van crash Friday in southern Missouri. Three crosses were put up at Faith Chapel Assembly of God in Overland Park in honor of the teens -14 year-old Hannah Foy, 17 year-old Samara Bayse from Stillwell, and 16 year-old David Martin of Olathe.
