Local advocacy and insight into one aspect of this town's rising homicide count. Take a look:
Roughly 10 people die every year due to domestic violence
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, one in four women will be a victim of domestic violence. For men, it's one in seven. "One of the things about domestic violence is that isolation and that control is maintained by keeping that person isolated from family members and from friends," Hope House CEO MaryAnne Metheny said.
I blame the now burned and untested rape kits that KCPD was too lazy to test
ReplyDelete^^ I blame the pants-shitting geezers for boring comments.

ReplyDeleteI blame pant shitting geezer haters for having such a limited vocabulary.
^^You would because you are retarded. Retard.
ReplyDeleteAgain, beware of zealots bearing numbers. They've likely been cooked to justify existence and get funding. In this case, I suspect that the definition of "domestic violence" has been expanded beyond any normal understanding of the term. I'd also wonder how they came up with the total number of incidents (using estimations and assumptions probably). The interview was conducted by a TV news reader, so of course they never asked for the source of the statistics.

ReplyDeleteI honestly would have guessed the number would be higher than 10. Oh well. Maybe the problem isn't as big as we think
