"He then fled and hid the knife, according to prosecutors. When he got home he took a shower and burned the clothes he was wearing in the backyard."

Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced Thursday that a 17-year-old Kansas City man has been charged in the fatal stabbing of Deandrea R. Vine. Vine was found dead in front of a residence in South Kansas City after she had been stabbed multiple times on July 28. Xzavier C.
